Travel Review: Luxury Anniversary Trip to Italy & The South of France, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Cooking Lesson, Local Wine

From the first time I spoke to my agent, I knew she would do everything possible to make our trip the one we were dreaming of.  Everything was very good!  It was a 25th anniversary trip, so we had big expectations, and they fulfilled them!  They listened to our likes and desires and planned the trip to fit our needs and dreams!  The itinerary link She provided us made it easy to figure out our plans every day and find where we were going.  The agency office in Italy was at our disposal for any question, additions, or changes we needed.  They were very quick to respond to anything we needed, including following up with a lost/left item.  

We only had one mixup with a tour that was set up for us on the last day of our trip.  We were told we had a wine tasting tour, and had asked to have a day or two of interacting with a group tour.  It was a very small group, with only 3 other people, and more importantly, it did not end up being a wine tasting tour.  The tour guide that our group had was very hard to understand.  She took us to one winery, and then the Roman amphitheater in Orange.  It was beautiful and we are glad we got to see it.  The main problem with the tour was that we had gone to visit several of the destinations the day before based on the schedule that we were told.  There were too many other things we wanted to see than to revisit these places, so we abandon the all day tour for the second haft of the day, of course loosing our money.  That was really our only hitch, and we make the most out of it and went to several wineries because we had a car. 

Overall, we loved the dinning that they selected and the hotels.  Also, other recommendations were spot on!  They definitely know what they are doing!
