Travel Review: Luxury Italy Honeymoon, Florence, Venice, Rome, Amalfi, Murano, Burano, Montalcino, Tuscany, Ravello, Capri, Siena

Since this company is located in Milan, Italy, our agent was very knowledgeable about what to expect and, more importantly, the ins-and-outs of each city. Our agent was always quick to respond to our numerous emails, and we set up regular Skype calls to hammer out all of the fine details. When we finalized our trip, our itinerary included the following destinations: Venice, Murano, Burano, Padua, Florence, Chianti, Montalcino, Siena, Pompeii, Capri, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Rome. Some of our noteworthy events included: attending La Tosca opera in Venice; visiting the only furnace specialized in contemporary art glassworks in in Murano Island and seeing the actual process of making glass art; breakfast at a renowned historical cafe and lunch at 3-Michelin-Star Le Calandre in Padua; brunch at Caffe Gilli and Le Volpi e l'Uva in Florence; dinner at Il Falchetto in Rome; and of course all of our wine tours!

Her colleague and founder of the company, is a sommelier and must be quite esteemed, because many of the wine tours he set up for us were exquisite and exclusive. Since we are wine connoisseurs and have visited many vineyards around the globe, each wine tour he selected for us was unique and unparalleled to any of our previous experiences. One of our most memorable moment was when we were the only ones permitted through the gates of Pompeii Vineyard with our agronomist guide despite many on-looking tourists. This vineyard is actually located inside the archaeological site Villa dei Misteri, previously destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.

Our agent's involvement didn’t just end once our itinerary was confirmed and paid for. She checked in with us several times during our trip to ensure all was okay, and even took time out to personally guide us on our day trip to Murano & Burano to ease our concerns. When we had a timing conflict during our personal tour along the Amalfi Coast, she responded to our email immediately and resolved the issue with the chauffeur company. Our agent even researched Tax Free procedures on our behalf for tax reimbursements of our large purchases when we departed Rome airport.
