Travel Review: Luxury Italy Vacation

Overall, I had a very smooth process with this Italy travel company. The owner of the company helped me plan a 2 week vacation to Italy. She provided us with some quality advice and helped us create a custom trip. From an execution point of view, we experienced no hitches on our vacation. All of our tours and taxi transfers were scheduled perfectly and were on time. The only thing aspect of the trip planning that I would have changed was to ensure that we had a planned itinerary for the majority of the days of our vacation. We did end up spending quite a bit more on activities and excursions that weren't pre-planned by our representative, because she had left several days of our trip open and self-guided. Personally, I wouldn't suggest this as we had the most headaches when we were forced to work with the local tour operators to put our day together.  The lines and crowds are enormously painful in Italy in the summer, so the more things can pre-booked and pre-planned the better.
