Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

The trip was really wonderful and the company was very responsive and thorough with arrangements. Most importantly, when I had to make a change in the middle of the trip, they were great--helping me switch hotels late in the day & navigating international calls (my cell didn't work despite Verizon's guarantees). They also had some great ideas and set them all up, including a wine tasting in St. Emilion on our last day, spending a very special time in Aix en Provence at a stunning hotel (Le Pigonnet) and getting an English speaking French GPS for the rental car.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The trip was to trace the steps of an ancestor. Visiting the homes she lived in and the camp where she was held during the War were the most memorable parts (see picture). But so was saying "That is so pretty!" about 100 times as we drove through Provence.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I would have planned for a slower drive across S. France. We had to change hotels because we had many pleasant diversions that made us travel more slowly than expected across the south. I should add that the agent told me so and I should have listened to her!
