Travel Review: Luxury Mother-Daughter Trip to Japan, Hakone, Kyoto, Tokyo, Bamboo Forest, Origami & Calligraphy Lesson

We loved Tokyo and Kyoto best.  Hakone was beautiful but crowded.  We loved the sword fighting in Tokyo, our guide!, our hotel, literally my favorite EVER (and that is saying a lot), the fish market, visiting the youth shopping area, Tokyo Old Town.  Everything really.  Kyoto we did a private team ceremony and the woman who led it was fabulous.  We visited the Bamboo Forest, took a private rickshaw.  We also dressed in kimono and learned origami and calligraphy.  All outstanding.  Kyoto we were ready to explore on our own which actually felt great.  We saw some beautiful shrines and enjoyed the shopping (which never ends).
