Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

This Peru travel company was a fantastic agency to work with. I'm in the travel busniess but decided to use them for their knowledge of the areas that we wanted to visit. Overall the experience was great. I booked everything by email and I'm truly surprised how everything worked out. We had a trip with a lot of logistics and I have to tell you it was wonderful from the 1st pick up at Lima's airport to the support we received from our cancelled flight in Cusco to connecting to a flight home. Everyone we encountered regarding our transfers were on time if not early, great to talk to, made sure our hotel was up to par and just a wonderful part of the team that this company has for their traveller. The tours we arranged with this company very great with English speaking guides buses were comfortable and information on point. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to travel to South America. Being in the travel field for 30 years they made my trip very carefree and overall a wonderful experience my husband and I now have great memories of our adventure in Peru.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We called this trip planes, trains and automobiles .... The trip to Machu Picchu was the highlight taking TheHiram Bingham Train was a great and made the day extra special. The guide from the train was very informative and I could feel her love for MP. But, we also flew over the Nacza Lines during our time in Paracas, It was fantastic with a 5 hour bus ride each way and was someinthing I was not feeling. It was a great experience overall. 2 movies plus beverage and sandwich was something our bus service can learn to do in the states. Bus travel is something I have not done in decades, but would give it overall it 4 stars. Our transfers in Paracas was not done by our travel agency but outsource to another company by the company. They were also on time and very professional the agency in Paracas arranged a dune buggy ride and sand boarding adventure in the desert and I have to tell you it was FUN.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I maybe being in the travel business would do my own flights within Peru, or work more closely with the agency. But that's just the control freak in me. The travel agency should explain to the traveller that you will get your documents each step of the trip. Which I more than understand just in case something gets lost who had time to deal with that. But that's me really just me being in control. The one thing I would change is the hotel in Cusco great location but the hotel needs to be updated and the noise was a but much. The hotel also gave us a room with 2 twin beds, while I asked for king bending for the rooms during the booking process, twins was unacceptable to us being rather tall people but they did switch us to a bigger room with a king.
