Travel Review: Luxury Tour of the Greek Isles, Mykonos, Santorini, Delos, Akrotiri Ruins, Catamaran Cruise

I worked with this travel agent on our trip to Greece.  There were three of us traveling to the Greek Islands in early September. He asked us our preferences, made suggestions and sent us an itinerary.  He could not have been more informative or helpful. I will say that after I read the reviews on Trip Advisor our hotel in Mykonos, I asked him to suggest another hotel.  We decided to book this hotel and were so happy we did.  The hotel was located at the top of the hill from the port.  The room was lovely and had a nice view of the port.  The staff could not have been friendlier or more professional.  The pool was great.  Breakfast had a great variety of options.  Something for everyone.  We had lunch by the pool one day and it was delicious.  The islands are not for the faint of heart.  There is a lot of walking on narrow cobblestone streets and hills.  The room at the hotel in Santorini was smaller, more "cave like" than the hotel in Mykonos.  But the location and the views are so stunning, it was an unbelievable experience.  We did one excursion on each Island.  We went to Delos for a 1/2 day from Mykonos.  Although I found it quite interesting, I liked the ruins in Akrotiri in Santorini more.  We look a private tour from a wonderful woman.  It is amazing how much they have accomplished here.  We did a lot of walking and exploring on both Santorini and Mykonos.  I enjoyed it all!
