Travel Review: Luxury Tour of Italy, Rome, Florence, Pisa, Tuscany, San Gimignano, Cinque Terre, Lucca

Our agent did a great job planning the trip.We saw all the major attractions and historical sites.Our guide on the last day in Rome went out of his way to bring us to the Pantheon which was not on the itinerary.

The only drawback was that I did not expect to stay in a run down castle converted to hotel on the 1st 2 days of our stay in Sienna.The rest of the hotels met our expectations.

Overall a memorable holiday!

I am very sorry you didn’t like the castle hotel; this authentic castle was built in 1100 as a stronghold to defend Siena from barbarian invasions, and is usualIy a favorite among my clients. I have also stayed in the castle myself multiple times, and absolutely love it as a unique experience taking me back in history and time.
