Travel Review: Luxury Trip to Bali & Indonesia, Komodo Dragon Island, Borobudur Temple, Sailing, Hiking, Local Culture & Cuisine

There are too many good ones to share, but we will forever remember sailing around the Komodo Dragon Islands for two days on a boat all to ourselves, making wonderful stops for hiking with fantastic views, getting close to Komodo dragons, and interacting with the crew who you could tell are like a family at sea, feeding us and making sure we were comfortable the whole time. Our tour guides in Bali were wonderful as well, stopping at little street food vendors to have us try different local cusines, making us laugh the whole way, and showing us the true Bali culture that we wanted to experience. We also had a couple of very early mornings which we regretted at first when the alarm clock went off, but once we experienced the serenity of sunsets at the Borobudur temple, the peacefulness and beauty of hiking up a volcano just to get to the top to see the sun rise, was some of the most breathtaking experiences for us—it was all worth it and more.
