Travel Review: Luxury Trip to Italy, Rome, Florence, Tuscany, Positano, Vatican, Colosseum, Uffizi Gallery, Pizza Making Class

Umm...every part..but here are some examples:

* In Rome, our private tour of the Colosseum and the Vatican was amazing.  It was put into our itinerary from Day 1 by the staff, and it did not disappoint.  Although those were the highlights, we saw, either while driving or during frequent stops, pretty much all the Roman must-sees in one informative and entertaining tour.  Both our driver and our tour-guide were top-notch.

*Our Pizza Cooking Class, recommended as an optional activity, was wonderful.  Learned a lot, had a blast, and the dining experience was great.  

*Our transfer from Rome to Chianti was a dream.  Our driver gave us a great tour of Tuscany before setting up a wine tasting at a family-run vineyard in Montalcino.  Once there, we got a nice little tour of the grounds and had a spectacular tasting and meal - the homemade pasta might be the best thing I've ever eaten.  I'm not even a wine-person, but this was something I'll never forget.  After that, we made a few more Tuscan stops before finally arriving at our hotel in Chianti.  It was a full-day of traveling and touring, but I felt like we saw and experienced so much.  This was easily one of my favorite days of the entire trip.  

*We had another incredible tour in Florence.  Our hotel, just like all the others, was perfectly located in the middle of all the action.  Our tour guide met us in the hotel lobby, and the tour she gave us of some of the major landmarks, the Uffizi Gallery, and the Galleria dell'Accademia was awesome.  Afterward, she even took us to a local, non-touristy restaurant and shared a delicious meal with us, even though by now she was off the clock.

*Positano was just ridiculous.  Our hotel room was amazing, our location was amazing, and all the optional activity and restaurant suggestions were spot-on.  I can't pinpoint just one because every day in this paradise was a highlight.
