Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

We had a great trip and loved everything about Portugal. Our travel consultant was wonderful and did everything we asked of him. He was friendly and responsive--a great communicator. I really liked that he provided a detailed calendar of our daily activities and hotels once we got to Portugal. The hotels that he booked for us were great and we really liked all of the tours he set up for us. Our travel consultant also was able to get us a discount on a hotel that I had already previously booked, which was great.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We really loved the food tour that our travel consultant booked for us in Porto--the guides were amazing and very knowledgeable and also took us to some great spots that seemed to be off the beaten path. We also really liked the day trip we took to the Douro Valley and visiting the winery.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We loved everything that the travel company set up for us, but now that we know the cities a bit better, we might try different areas to stay in or go for slightly less luxurious accommodations farther out from the city center.
