From the first response of Matteo's, we were pretty much in love with Italy !! His painting a picture of what a trip to Italy could look like started to be just what we wanted !! As we fine tuned our customized trip with his help we knew we were on our way ! His availability to talk or skype really put us at ease. The minute we arrived in Florence and our driver (Giorgio) (who was just amazing) was waiting to take us to our first castle (Castello Di Tornano) in the country side of Chianti and drive us around for the next 4 days,we fell head over hills in love with Italy.. Each step of the way that Matteo had planned for us was perfect and beyond our wildest dreams!! There wasn't a glitch to be had!!! I have given this Italy tour operator's name to several friends ..

How did you find out about Zicasso? I googled for a 5 star travel agency to Italy and Zicasso came up!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Customized guided tours of a Pecorino cheese and tasting factory,San Gimignano, Truffle hunt with Emma the Truffle hunting dog and the truffle cooking class with Gabriella....La Verna and the Hermitage..Such a spiritual experience!! And of course the beautiful breath taking Frescos... The architecture of the cathedrals were so beautiful.We were awe struck...The people were warm, welcoming and delightful!! The food was so delicious and fresh as was the air in the country side !

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Go a day or so early to get over the jet lag before starting out...Stay in a small village for a bit of time. Take another cooking class.. go to the coast of Italy..
