Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

Our travel planner was easy to work with and very organized. She planned a customized trip to Hawaii, New Zealand, and Moorea for a month. We had 8 flights, 2 trains, 1 ferry, 3 motor coaches and a dozen of hotel stays. All transfers, excursions, flights, hotels, etc were well planned and we didn't have any issues. We missed one motor coach departure and it was because the bus schedule had changed but our travel planner was not notified. Our planner made other arrangements and the bus company refunded our money plus sent a bottle of wine to be waiting in our room at our hotel upon arrival. It was an awesome trip!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

In New Zealand , we enjoyed Hobbiton Shrire, Rotorua Geo-Thermal pools, Maori Cultural Center , wine tastings in Marlborough and Otego wine regions, harvesting/eating Mussels in the Sound , Franz Glacier, and the TransAlpine train trip thru the Southern Alps.
New Zealand has awesome scenery and the people are extremely nice.
Moorea is a beautiful South Pacific Island with turquoise clear water and colorful fish.
I know our travel planner must have told every hotel that this trip was for our 30th Wedding Anniversary because every hotel had a bottle of wine waiting in our room or gave us coupons for drinks at the bar. Nice extra touch!

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We were exhausted and happy to arrive at Moorea for some R&R. But travel to and from the island is a challenge. We visited mid-week and there were limited ferry and flight services. I would not visit mid-week but would arrive and depart on weekend when there's more options for ferry service and flights back to U.S. We spent 6 hours waiting from hotel checkout until ferry back to Tahiti and 7 more hours waiting on flight back to U.S. I would probably visit Bora Bora , not Moorea, due to limited transportation options.
