Family Vacation Review: Italy & Greece, Positano, Florence, Rome, Athens, History, Food, Sites & Wine

We visited Florence Italy, Rome Italy, Positano Italy and Athens Greece. Every one of our tours along with the tour guides and or drivers did a fabulous job. The history alone was mind blowing not to forget about some of the most breath taking sites. Our favorite places were Florence and Positano Italy. In Florence we had a fabulous guide that made us feel welcome and showed us some of the history of Florence along with some of her favorites eateries, that we definitely visited and were not disappointed. A wonderful cooking class with a Chef and her husband. Wonderful sites, food, wine and can't forget the Gelato....such a city, just loved it. Then Positano, Mamma mia! Our hotel was right on the beach, so beautiful! We had a boat trip with a local company to the Island of Capri...great time! We were suppose to take the Hike of the Gods but because of rain it was too dangerous. Our guide opted to take us on another hike that he called the Paper Mill hike and we got a 4 hour hike in some of the most awesome places. We will return to hike the Path of the Gods with our guide and we will try some of his home raised honey. Our last favorite place was Delphi, Greece with our fabulous guide. She touched on just enough of the important history. I have to mention our driver who picked us up at our hotel in Athens and took us to Delphi, then took us to this most beautiful place on our way to lunch. A mountain top overlooking a valley of 2 million olive trees that butted up to a small fishing village. Breath taking!
