This travel agency did a terrific job proposing an initial itinerary and then working with us to customize it to make a perfect trip through Paris, Florence, and Rome. Doug was always quick to reply to our questions or hop on the phone to talk live when we needed him. We really appreciated his honesty when we were weighing different aspects of the trip about whether things were worth it, where it may be worth spending more, and where we absolutely did not have to spend extra to have a perfect experience. He also checked in throughout our trip to make sure things were perfect and everything went off with a hitch from the airport/train transfers, to hotel check ins, to tour bookings. We would highly recommend to others looking for a memorable trip!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Paris: Private Walking Tour that started by picking us up at our hotel and wound up covering close to 10 miles hitting major sites all across the city. We were exhausted by the end, but if you're an active couple it is absolutely the best way to explore and learn about the city.
Florence: Our day trip to Siena and San Gimignano with a stop along the way at a winery for lunch was the highlight of our entire trip. The driver was so friendly and knowledgeable talking throughout the entire car ride about the history of the region and giving us directions on the highlights to make sure we explored in the cities. The Tuscan scenery was breathtaking and the towns really gave a unique view into middle-ages Italy.
Rome: The scale and grandeur of the Vatican still amazes us. We constantly found ourselves craning our necks in the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica to view something else and marvel at the detail that went into construction several hundred years ago.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

As it was our first time traveling to Paris and Italy, we really tried to pack in all the major attractions and at times we wished we would have pulled back on a tour or had an extra day just to sleep in, relax, drink wine, and wander aimlessly.
