Travel Review: Italy Anniversary Vacation, Rome, Venice, Tuscany, Florence, Cinque Terre, Vatican, Coliseum, Cooking Class

Our agent at this travel company did an amazing job planning our Italy vacation for us! She was very responsive during the planning process and succeeded in making our dreams for the trip a reality. We did 3 nights in Rome, 2 nights in the Tuscan countryside, 3 nights in Florence, and 2 nights in Venice. We also did a day trip from Florence to the Cinque Terre. Our agent did a great job of choosing clean, centrally located hotels for us that fit within our budget. She also took care of all our transportation needs – train tickets, a car rental, and even a private assistant to help us get us into and out of Venice (a complicated process!). We enjoyed our tours in each city; our tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. There was a good balance between doing structured tours and having enough free time to explore each city on our own. In addition,our agent planned a cooking class and a wine tour at a beautiful castle in Tuscany for us, both of which were great experiences. We were also provided with an Italian cell phone and a 24/7 number that we could call in case something went wrong while we were on vacation, which was very reassuring. We will definitely be recommending this agent to our friends, and would use her again in a heartbeat if we ever get the opportunity to go to Italy again!
